Data stored on your device

Overdue stores your library, loans, genres, and settings only on your device. Posch Ventures does not operate servers that store your book data. You can delete everything the app controls using the steps below.

How to delete all app data

  1. Open Overdue on your Android device
  2. Tap Settings (bottom navigation)
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone
  4. Tap Reset All Data
  5. Type DELETE exactly as shown
  6. Confirm to permanently remove your data

This deletes all books, loan records, genres, notes, and app settings on that device. We do not keep a copy.

Other ways to remove data

Uninstall the app from your device to remove local app data. If you created backups or exports (PDF, CSV, or JSON files) and saved them elsewhere, delete those files in the app or location where you stored them.

ISBN lookup and third-party services

If you used ISBN scan or lookup, the app may have sent that ISBN to Open Library or Google Books to fetch book details. We do not store those requests on our servers. We cannot delete data held by those third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
