Acceptance

By downloading or using Overdue, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Overdue for personal book tracking and loan management. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app.

Use and Responsibility

You own the content you enter (book details, cover photos, borrower notes, etc.). You are responsible for the accuracy of your records, backing up data you care about, and complying with laws when storing others' information (e.g., borrower contact details). Data is stored locally on your device—we are not responsible for loss due to device failure, theft, uninstallation, or user error. See our Disclaimer for more.

ISBN Lookup

Book details fetched via ISBN lookup come from third-party sources (Open Library and Google Books). We do not guarantee their accuracy or availability. You can always edit entries manually.

Backups, Exports, and Sharing

Backups are JSON files created by Overdue; importing a backup replaces your current books, genres, and settings. You can also export PDF or CSV reports. Review backup contents before importing. Once you share a file outside the app, we do not control how others use it.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Posch Ventures is not liable for any damages arising from your use of Overdue, loss of library data, or reliance on loan records in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above will change when we revise the terms.
