Privacy Policy

Summary

BoardCalc collects minimal to no personal information. The app is designed to work without requiring your data. We do not show ads. We use Firebase Analytics (Google) only for anonymous usage statistics—see below—not to identify you personally.

Information We Collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, or accounts in the app. Any data you enter (calculations, settings) is stored only on your device unless you share it or back up your device.

Firebase Analytics

BoardCalc uses Firebase Analytics, a service by Google LLC, to understand how the app is used in aggregate. Events are anonymous: we do not send personal data with them. Examples include app open events and button or feature interactions (which features are used, not who you are).

Google processes this information on our behalf and may use it as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use Firebase Analytics to collect precise location, and we do not use it for advertising. Technical identifiers may be handled by the SDK as part of normal analytics delivery; we do not use them to identify you beyond what the service provides for aggregated reporting.

Data Storage

Calculations and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. It does not leave your device unless you share it or back up your device.

App Stores

When you download the app from Google Play, Google may collect account and device information as part of their services. That is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.

Future Paid Version

BoardCalc is currently free. If we introduce a paid version or in-app purchases in the future, payments will be processed by a third-party provider. We would not store payment details. The provider's privacy policy would govern transaction data.

Changes

We may update this policy if the app changes. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
